Example Motors has 17 used electric cars in stock across our Springfield store, from Tesla, Hyundai, Toyota, Lucid, Cadillac, Kia, priced from $19,570 to $44,970.
Range is the first question most EV shoppers ask, so every electric car page shows a battery figure and says what it is: a battery test result, the range the car displayed at a full charge, or an estimate for its age and mileage. You can ask for a report on the exact VIN before you visit. Each page also lists the price online and lets you estimate a monthly payment, and you can trade in your current car toward an EV.
Questions shoppers ask
- How do I check a used Tesla's battery health?
- A battery capacity test is the only measurement of the battery itself. Without one, compare the range the car displays at a full charge with its original EPA rating. Each EV page shows a test result, the displayed range we recorded, or a labeled estimate for its age and mileage, and you can request a report for the exact VIN. Neither a displayed range nor an estimate is a battery test.
- Does a used Tesla still have warranty?
- Tesla's battery and drive unit warranty is 8 years with a mileage limit of 100,000 to 150,000 miles depending on model and year, and it transfers to the next owner. We'll confirm the remaining coverage for any specific VIN.
- Is a used EV eligible for a federal tax credit?
- The federal used clean vehicle tax credit ended for vehicles acquired after September 30, 2025. Some utilities and California programs still offer EV rebates, so ask our finance team what applies on the date you buy.
- Are your prices negotiable or are there hidden fees?
- Each listing shows our price, which includes the $75 documentation fee. On top of it you pay sales tax and government fees, both included in the out-the-door estimate at checkout. Ask a specialist for a written breakdown for a specific car.
